* Applauds President Tinubu for Recognising Distinguished Katsina Military Officer and Public Servant
Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has congratulated Major General Junaidu Sani Bindawa (Rtd) on his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Chairman of the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission (NSIWC).
Governor Radda described Major General Bindawa, a distinguished son of Bindawa Local Government Area of Katsina State, as an accomplished retired senior military officer with an outstanding record of service to Nigeria.
“Major General Bindawa served Nigeria with distinction, including as Defence Attaché to Pakistan, before retiring with the rank of Major General. His wealth of experience and exemplary leadership make him well-suited for this important national assignment,” Governor Radda said.
The Governor noted that the retired General currently serves as Chairman of the Katsina State Community Watch Corps (CWC), where he has played a key role in strengthening community-based security initiatives across the state.
“His patriotism, discipline and professionalism have remained exemplary. We are confident he will justify the confidence reposed in him and make valuable contributions to national development,” the Governor added.
Governor Radda commended President Tinubu for the appointment, describing it as a well-deserved recognition of Major General Bindawa’s competence, integrity and decades of dedicated service to the nation.
He wished Major General Junaidu Sani Bindawa (Rtd) a successful tenure and prayed for Allah’s guidance and wisdom as he assumes his new national responsibility.
